Looking back now, I believe it was quite logical for formal teaching to start of with pupils learning their A-Z, it seemed like all that mattered most then, only for it to turn out to be the building block for two letter words. That seemed thought at the beginning as we had to match ‘a’ and ‘t’ to give ‘at’. We went through that for while only to end up with three letter words. Now you are probably writing full articles and making creative compositions with sixteen letter words.
I discover too, that being able to spell doesn’t necessarily mean being able to pronounce, and being able to pronounce doeant mean being able to use contextually!
One of the two letter words, that many need to learn, not just the spelling, but pronunciation and use is NO!
Please note the exclamation mark. Many ladies today won’t have gotten them in unnecessary situations if only they have learnt how to simply use that two letter word.
“My son(daughter), if sinners entice thee, consent thou not” Proverbs 1:10.
There will always be boys, girls, older ones, peers and even enemies who would constantly want you to do things you don’t want to do or even stop you from doing things you want to do, whichever way it is, LEARN TO SAY NO! and please mean it.
No… Isn’t same as NO!
Be firm about it. Don’t allow people, no matter who they are make you compromise your values for them.
If only you have told that guy, NO! you won’t be in this situation, if only you have told your friend, NO! and stuck to it, you won’t be here now. Just maybe, if you have told chatting NO! you won’t be in this circle you are now.
Hello dear, learn to use the two letter word! Practice with your siblings, practice with your mirror. Whatever you have to do. Learn to say NO!
Have you ever been in a situation you know a simple NO! would have saved you from? Please share your experience, I’ll like to hear from you.
