A Secret the Devil Has Kept From You.

Do you agree that the bible is indeed very complete? I do. Therein lies secrets that will help make our living life possible.

I came across a scripture sometime ago and that scripture opened me up to the three 3 things the devil particularly attacks as well as God’s three-fold shield.

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17.

Look at this portion “…but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost”

Those three things are the basic things the devil constantly fights in our lives.

1. Righteousness

This is simply how God sees us, how we stand before Abba, and every time guilt comes, realize that this the where the devil is attacking. As long as the devil is able to get you feel God doesn’t want you, you run from Him rather than towards him.

We forget that our righteousness is like filthy rag before him which is why ” … he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Don’t allow the devil attack your ‘righteousness’ again. It’s one of the cores of the Kingdom of God!

2. Peace

If you have ever lost your peace over a matter, you will understand the importance of peace. Ever utterly troubled that you can’t sleep, so much fear grip your heart night and day? It isn’t a good feeling, and it definitely isn’t something God wants for you. The devil constantly attacks this part of our Christian walk too, because he realizes it’s a key portion of the Kingdom.

Every time there is an attack on your peace, simply remember “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”.

Don’t allow the devil steal your peace.

3. Joy in the Holy Ghost

Ye! Joy, joy joy!

Walking on the street of Lagos, Nigeria or boarding buses, you’ll discover that many people have lost their joy! There is so much frustration in the world now. Almost everyone is sad and frustrated and they are lashing out on the next person, who in turn lashes out on the other, and the trend continues. See what the devil is doing?

No matter what he, the devil, throws at you, keep your joy intact! Things may go wrong, but as long as you keep your joy intact, you can draw from the well of salvation all the goodies there.

“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation” Isaiah 12:3.

You see that with out garment of righteousness, we know where we stand with Christ, with peace mounting guard on out hearts and with us basking in the Holy Ghost, we are sure to set the devil’s plan “to steal, and to kill and to destroy “ ablaze.

Next time the devil shows up, let him know you have the upper hand now!

Have you had an experience about this that you’ll like to share? Please do.
